Site of the Week

Remember the Riders

It's terrifying to see the stunts some motorcyclists pull on the road. It's unbelievable. Do they not realize how fragile they are? Driving a car is dangerous enough, but riding bike is much more so. And I guess those careless riders all think, it's not going to happen to me. Yeah, right.

Remember the Riders uses shirts and email notifications of local fatalities, with a no-nonsense message, "A local motorcyclist was killed this week..." to build motorcycle safety awareness.

"Motorcycle fatalities continue to increase each year. Express your outrage at this tragic waste of life and remind drivers that motorcycle safety depends on us all.

Remember the Riders is an ongoing awareness initiative that encourages motorcyclists to remind the public when a local rider loses his or her life. The more people are aware, the more they can contribute to a positive change."
